At Corolair, we've taken the time to rethink the training experience by focusing on the essential role of the tutor. Our goal is also to bring the standard of SaaS UX into the field of education, without losing sight of the importance of personalization.

Create a Tutor

Upon arriving at Corolair, instructors can create and configure their tutor. They first define a specific knowledge base, which becomes the single source of truth. Instructors can enrich this area by importing data from their own storage or through their LMS, if the integration has been established beforehand.

Customizing the tutor's behavior is a key step. Instructors can choose detailed responses or adopt a Socratic approach to stimulate learners' thought process.

They also have the option to create self-assessment modules such as quizzes and flashcards, depending on the needs of their teaching program.

Configuration ans Tests

After creating the tutor, it is crucial to test it to ensure it meets the specific requirements of learning experience. This testing phase allows for refining the content and adjusting settings Instructors can check the efficiency of the self-assessment modules and ensure that the tutor properly guides learners by identifying gaps in their knowledge and encouraging them to progress.

It is also recommended to review and adjust the content of the self-assessment modules before making them accessible to learners. This validation step ensures that the responses provided by the tutor are comprehensive and tailored to the learners' level. For example, the question might be, "What are the three areas developed to ensure customer satisfaction?" and the answer, according to the downloaded documents, consists of three main elements. The tutor correctly identified that I had captured two out of the three, reminds me of the missing axis, and encourages me to keep learning.

Similarly, I can test the proper functioning of the quiz module. We stay within the conversational interface, and there is feedback on each question. At the end of the quiz, I receive personalized feedback on my performance. For instance, I might be given areas for improvement on simplifying the shopping experience.

Once I have tested the functionalities, I can go to the "Manage Content" tab. It's possible to delete a source, add new ones, and also update them if necessary. Each source is summarized in the panel, and it's also possible to view it directly on Corolair.

We strongly encourage editing the flashcard and quiz modules before sharing them. Even if they have been pre-generated, it is necessary to go through a validation step by the instructor. For example, here we modify the answer to a question to make it more complete. For each flashcard attempted by the learner, personalized feedback is generated based on what you have defined as the complete answer.

Share the tutor

Once the tutor is set up, instructors have several options for sharing it: direct email through Corolair, integration into their LMS, or on their website, with the option to control access via a password. This flexibility makes it easier to integrate the tutor into various educational contexts and allows for personalized tracking of learners' progress.

We are also developing new features that will further enrich the Corolair experience, particularly in terms of knowledge mapping and analysis of learner interactions.
